Intro

Three months after the release of the grandiose QT2, REVONEXT is following the QT3 with its new flagship. It offers one more driver to improve the treble. This can be a blessing, but for some it can also be a curse, because despite the advantages of the QT3 in the high range, it becomes much sharper and unnatural.

Handling

Here it is important to find points of criticism.
Great optics, full metal, for the number of drivers an acceptable size, as well as weight.
The wearing comfort is very good, but it could happen that these in-ears can exert pressure on very small ears, due to the shape of the nozzle.
The cable is removable with the more and more established 2-pin adapter (KZ, TRN...), but the cables from TRN are to be preferred here as well, because the plugs at REVONEXT are not bent, so that they might protrude too far upwards. Too bad that REVONEXT didn't fix it, because this was already the case with the predecessor.

Sound

Compared to the predecessor (QT2) there is only one fundamental change and that is the treble. There's hardly any difference between the midrange and bass, which isn't a problem because they were already exceptionally good.
By using another BA driver in the mid/treble range, the QT3s sound much brighter than their predecessors and reveal a wider stage and richness of detail.
However, you should have a certain affinity for high frequencies, as these can be quite sharp and exhausting. Thus, they no longer sound natural and metallic. I would even put them above the KZ ZS6 in this respect.

The mids offer everything what the predecessors already offered, but due to the brighter highs they are not quite as prominent anymore and the QT3 sounds a bit cooler.
Otherwise, the wonderful 3D feeling has been preserved and the positioning works perfectly. They are lively and full of energy, but don't give you the feeling of overpowering.

You still don't beat the bass. No matter what you offer it, it reacts very clearly, but not aggressively. He goes deep and with a lot of pressure. He stays where he belongs and doesn't turn the QT3 into a bass monster, because all other frequency ranges don't drop either. Thus the QT3 manages a little bit the balancing act between fun, but also audiophile claim.

Outro

If you want to buy an in-ear from REVONEXT you don't do much wrong.
You should only know what you want. In comparison, the QT3 has everything we were used to from the QT2, but with the help of an additional driver it tries to position itself wider and more detailed in the trebles. This succeeds, but at the expense of a brighter sound, which can also be painful and exhausting in the long run. This goes in the direction of KZ ZS6.
If you are very sensitive to treble, you should rather go for the predecessor and get a more fun, fuller sound, because the mids come forward a bit better, but you also have to do without a slightly better separation, stage and attention to detail.
Because of this, the QT3 doesn't represent an upgrade to the QT2 and has to be placed behind it. The further driver and the new tuning cause more harm than joy. There was really more in it! Nevertheless, you shouldn't forget that it's basically a very good in-ear.

Legend

Haptic:

Here the processing plays a role and the usability of the scope of supply. Additionally the appearance, wearing comfort and robustness.

Value:
Here I evaluate for me subjectively the price/performance ratio - does not flow into the evaluation!

Z: No Brainer

A: money well spent

B: all right, you can do

C: gives better for less money

D: overpriced

E: collector's price

Daily life:
Here, I focus on the long-term audibility and whether I can hear it well out of the box. This is of course very subjective and therefore only a minimal deduction or bonus.
